Salon de Mommy

Saturday Chris had his first day of taking care of Penelope all by himself. They did great! I am now working in the Cafe at the Phoenician now too, in addition to the Banquets kitchen and office. Saturday was my first day by myself.  I hope I did okay...I will find out tomorrow when I'm back there for Monday and Tuesday.

Yesterday was bath day which equals today being crazy hair day!  So we decided to go to the Salon this morning before church to get our hair fixed up all pretty.  When we went to Texas on Mother's Day Mom bought us some hair stuff to make P's hair curl. Nanny did it when we were there, but I haven't gotten the lessons I need to be able to do it myself.  So I used it to just tame the crazy...

3 MONTHS!!

Week 2 of Work

I made it through a 2nd week of work.  I can't say its my favorite thing, but it pays the bills.  Penelope is growing so fast!  Today she rolled over for the first time all by herself!  She is so adorable!!  Since I worked 4 long days I didn't take many pictures and Friday I had her all day but I didn't put her down to take any pictures so these pics are mostly from today.  There are a few from other days, but mostly today....

Well we made it...

We survived our first week back at work!

On Wednesday we got some pictures of her sucking her thumb!  Well she doesn't really suck on it, she really just likes to chew on it. She isn't real big on pacifiers yet, maybe she will someday, but for now she is liking her hands and thumb.

On Thursday was my dad's 50th Birthday! WOO HOO!  He is getting old! Haha :)Love you Dad!  Here are some pictures from his birthday...(of course she was here and he was there, but we still dressed up)

The end of the week we celebrated by going to the movies!  Glendale has a drive in movie so we went with Thomas and Allison!

First week back...

Yesterday was my first day back at work.  I can't say I loved it, but I didn't hate it either.  Penelope spent her first day with Stephanie and did great! They love her and think she is so cute!  We have been really busy at work so I have gotten off late each day.  Its not very fun.  I pretty much ran out of the kitchen yesterday.  My body hurts so bad!! I haven't been on my feet this much in a LONG time....and MAN do I feel it!!  I'm hoping I can get back into kitchen shape soon!
